7Passing on the Passion
This section introduces the origins of the Furukawa Group, the successive heads of the Furukawa family following Ichibee Furukawa, and the development of the Furukawa Zaibatsu (Conglomerate).
The exhibition also features a time-lapse video documenting the restoration work for this project.

8Mountains for the Future
On display are four of the 83 paintings by artist Kimiko Suzuki, who has depicted the Ashio landscape over many years.
This section also introduces ongoing environmental restoration initiatives in the Ashio area, including tree planting and greening activities.

■Ashio Copper Mine Paintings Exhibition Room
(Works by Kogai Tashiro)
The exhibition contrasts final paintings with preliminary sketches of the Ashio Copper Mine Paintings, created by artist Kogai Tashiro around 1907 (Meiji 40).

■Training Room
The training room can be divided into two rooms and can accommodate up to approximately 60 people.
It also serves as a multi-purpose space where art exhibitions and special exhibitions can be held.
■Museum Shop
The shop offers a selection of original items crafted from kumiko Kanuma (traditional lattice woodwork), Yashu hemp—a specialty of the Ashio Mountains—and copper.
